Hi, I have attached an ebuild that I wrote for "IDSwakeup". (http://www.hsc.fr/ressources/outils/idswakeup/index.html.en) let me just quote the readme: "IDSwakeup is a collection of tools that allows to test network intrusion detection systems. The main goal of IDSwakeup is to generate false attack that mimic well known ones, in order to see if NIDS detects them and generates false positives." As this is indeed quite use-/helpful please consider addition to portage. :) Thanks. Regards, Daniel PS: Might be another candidate for some kind of future "net-security" category. (see #24307 for what I am talking about). ;-)
