Bug 243806 – xscreensaver-demo causes hangup

It is impossible to change the screensaver because the application is not responsive. I assume that the rendering process has too much priority and causes this problem.

I have recently ran emerge --sync and done the relevant updates, I saw that there have been xorg updates.

I have not experienced this problem before the recent updates.

fixed after upgrade to x11-misc/xscreensaver-5.07 (from stable 5.05)
