Description Zhen Lin 2003-07-11 04:02:52 UTC
Could this patch and code be considered for inclusion into gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r6?

I have tested it, the patch does not conflict with any of the other
gentoo-sources patches.

However, it does not compile in a rmap kernel because of the usage of PageActive
in fs/hfsplus/inode.c, line 89 ... Will test in a aavm kernel instead.

well, if it goes anywhere, it will be pfeifer-sources for testing.

ok - this is in pfeifer-sources-2.4.21_pre3. i fixed the rmap issue. rather simple. look for it in a portage near you...

oh - and test this thing and give me some feedback.

Thanks,

Jay

Hmmm... That was fast...

Anyway, I don't have any HFS+ disks to test it on yet... But I think there are people on the forums who have been waiting for an easy way to access their iPods.

For some reason, the Mac partition maps don't apply to CDs... So I still can't access my HFS+ or HFS disks. Maybe it is the HFS+ in HFS wrapper...
