Could you post the error from config.log ?
Created attachment 168488 [details] config.log This was generated right after attempting to build libwnck
What does 'intltool-update --version' print ? What does 'which intltool-update' print ?
which intltool-update: intltool-update --version intltool-update (intltool) 0.35.5 Written by Kenneth Christiansen, Maciej Stachowiak, and Darin Adler. After that, I found that there was a copy of intltool-update located in both /usr/bin *AND* /bin /usr/bin/intltool-update showed that it was version 0.40.5 (also had a newer time stamp) Looks like I somehow ended up with two copies of this file on my system......with the new one being located farther down the path. Not sure how this happened! I've deleted the older version in /bin and mv'd the one in /usr/bin into /bin and re-emerged libwnck successfully. Appreciate the help and quick responses!
Well, not quite. intltool should not but any files in /bin /usr/bin/ was the correct place.
You're correct. I miss-typed. After equerying the intltool and finding that it should've been in /usr/bin/ I located the 0.40.5 version and ensured that it was in /usr/bin/ and deleted the one located in /bin/
