when using net-analyzer/smokeping: smokeping requires the fping binary to be set setuid root.

if, for some reason, fping gets re-emerged smokeping stops working because the binary is no longer setuid root.

a local use flag option on net-analyzer/fping should be added to set the binary setuid root.

Reproducible: Always




this could be considered a request for new feature, but for me it breaks smokeping and therefore considered a bug.

Thank you for report, Rolf and Dawid. Fixed in fping-2.4_beta2-r2.
