media-tv/nxtvepg-2.8.1 has been released : * Several bugs in the Linux driver interface were fixed which made acquisition fail to start on certain Linux installations. * A bug in the Nextview EPG data stream decoder was fixed which sometimes lead to display of corrupt or entirely blank network names. * A bug in TV application channel table import was fixed which sometimes caused wrong names to be associated with channels. * Various display bugs were fixed which were introduced by the upgrade to Tcl/Tk version 8.5 in nxtvepg release 2.8.0 (such as incorrectly displayed special characters in the main window and configuration dialogs; problems when searching for such characters; on Linux even a crash upon program start with certain versions of the Tcl/Tk library.) Most importantly is fix 1 which makes nxtvepg work on some systems like mine with certain v4l2 devices. A simple rename of the ebuild works fine for me. Reproducible: Always
