Description azure 2008-10-12 20:17:24 UTC
My opinion: it's due to upgrade of gtk+ (and glib)

[ebuild R ] x11-libs/gtk+-2.14.3-r2 USE="X cups jpeg tiff -debug -doc -jpeg2k -vim-syntax -xinerama"

[ebuild R ] dev-libs/glib-2.18.1 USE="fam -debug -doc -hardened (-selinux) -xattr"

Fail on building OO:

Also, I should point, that purpose of re-emerging openoffice was to eliminate the appeared bug: almost all fonts disappeared from my oo build (i guess it happened after installing new glib and gtk+)
Comment 1 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-16 20:34:13 UTC
Well I built OOo 2.4.1 with gtk 2.14 just fine, so I don't think it's related to this.

Anyway: Do you still see that with 3.0?

No feedback for a few months, closing
