Description Gene Imes 2008-10-12 16:56:46 UTC
~x86
emerge latest fantasdic.

gene@go:/dev# fantasdic
WARNING : Ruby/Gettext was not found.
The interface will therefore remain in English.
/usr/bin/ruby18: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/i686-linux/gtk2.so: undefined symbol: gtk_file_system_error_quark

Appears that this is fixed in a later version of ruby-gnome2:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby-gnome2/+bug/245955

This release may not be stable enough however to make portage.

Thanks,

Gene

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for the report, assigning to fantasdic maintainer. Looks like there are newer versions of ruby-gnome2 released, so he can talk ruby team into adding them now if needed...

I've just added ruby-gtk2-0.19.0 to CVS. This version contains the fix referenced in the bug link, so I assume this is now fixed. Please reopen if there are still problems with fantasdic.
