emerge cups fails with this message:

('Filesize does not match recorded size', 3978390, 3978466)
!!! Fetched file: cups-1.3.8-source.tar.bz2 VERIFY FAILED!
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got:      3978390
!!! Expected: 3978466

I've manuall downloaded the file (cups-1.3.8-source.tar.bz2) and the filesize is indeed 3978390 bytes.

This line is from my /usr/portage/net-print/cups/Manifest dated Oct 10th:

Same here....

Checked diferent mirrors manualy ...all 3978390 sized...but in Manifest the size is 3978466

Thanks, I've updated the broken Manifest and reuploaded the "new" tarball, it'll take a few minutes/hours until it hits all the mirrors though.

Well, the digest now says 3978390 bytes which is what you get from http://ftp.easysw.com/pub/cups/1.3.8/cups-1.3.8-source.tar.bz2
