qt-4.x with USE="qt3support" doesn't replace a full qt3 installation, it only adds a compatibility layer to ease porting of applications to qt4. You really need to (re-)emerge poppler-bindings with qt3 in your USE flags. On another note I'd suggest using kdegraphics-meta since there won't be any monolothic packages for 3.5.10 anymore which will cause you some hassle with upgrading to it once it goes stable.
