Need an ebuild for the nss libraries from mozilla.  I know that evolution and
gaim-encryption need it.

I'm working on it but in the meantime am posting this.

I haven't been able to take good look but I've been rather stumped with it so far.  If you guys can get it going, more power to you.

dev-libs/nss-3.8 now in portage.

Excellent work.  Hopefully I can get gaim-0.64-r2 out today with the newer gaim-encryption.

I believe nss depends on zip.  Emerge zip and nss builds fine.
