The main purpose of the QEdje project is to build a bridge among components that proved to have great value for open source developers: Edje and Qt. This will extend the Qt toolkit with the flexibility of a declarative language, such as Edje, and also enable Qt widgets to be embedded into Edje UI design. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

This package is also needed for (Q)Edje to be supported in KDE 4.x (especially Plasma). I think also the KDE team should be interested in getting it into the official tree. Perhaps also adding it as a USE flag (as is the case already with "google-gadgets).
