Comment 3 Owen Gunden 2003-07-13 19:12:51 UTC
I'm still having the same problem with this violated sandbox.

It looks like this may be the same problem as in bug #134:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134

Perhaps whoever does tetex stuff should take a look at it?

fixes sandbox error

The ebuild was using sed to fix a line in the doc Makefile that generated
sane.ps. The error was the ebuild sed'ed dvips instead of $(DVIPS). The
offending line needs to be changed from:
sed -i -e 's:dvips sane.dvi -o sane.ps:dvips sane.dvi -o -M0 sane.ps:' \
		${S}/doc/Makefile.in
to:
sed -i -e 's:$(DVIPS) sane.dvi -o sane.ps:$(DVIPS) sane.dvi -M0 -o sane.ps:' \
		${S}/doc/Makefile.in

Getting this fix together with the driver update from bug 27280 into portage as -r1. Thanks for the hints and fixes!
Comment 7 Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-09-10 09:47:28 UTC
Now this bug is really dead. -M1 does the job, -M0 doesn't. See bug #28303.
