the VDA patch for postfix supplies since 2.5.4 a 64bit additional patch to better support 64bit systems. Currently postfix-2.5.5 is patched against the older 2.5.3 patch, when there's actually a 2.5.5 patch even. The reason I noticed this is merely because I was having issues getting my quota's to work properly. All that would need to change in the ebuild is to get http://vda.sourceforge.net/VDA/postfix-2.5.5-vda-ng-64bit.patch.gz and patch it after patching http://vda.sourceforge.net/VDA/postfix-2.5.5-vda-ng.patch.gz for 2.5.5 for example, if it is a 64bit system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I have not tested it enough to say wether it actually affects quota's, I simply put my quota's at 0 and figured i'd be done with it for now.
I updated the VDA patch to 2.5.5 in postfix-2.5.5-r1. I also mailed the author on whether the 64bit patch has been developed on/for amd64 or has been tested on other 64bit architectures as well.

ping timeout.
JFYI, there's a patch for Postfix 2.6.1 (mainly type changes) whereas the ebuild for 2.6.2 still uses the VDA patch for 2.5.5. http://vda.sourceforge.net/VDA/postfix-2.6.1-vda-ng.patch.gz I guess a patch for 2.6.2 will follow...
