Can't explain why but it seems that above 400 entries, himerge will begin to trim down the last 40 entries or so over your package.unmask . Wasn't a problem until I tried to unmask kde-4.1.2 Reproducible: Always
Now that kde 4.1.2 has been unmasked and the package.unmask file is smaller it now functions normal but please consider this limitation for the next release. Thanks

Hi Luis, Unfortunately I no longer have the package mask file which was causing the problem, I have happily deleted those behemoths that were necessary to unmask kde4 but the problem seemed to occur on both of my gentoo machines when the mask or unmask file was over 350 entries, that seemed to be the cutoff point where everything after that would get trimmed off. Please give me the web address of your developer overlay as I couldn't find it.
Actually I found it and I have it installed, I will let you know how it is.
