Description Hans Meier 2008-10-02 19:59:23 UTC
I use Kword for write a Document which is 110 Pages at the Moment. It grows...

Have opened allways 4-5 Documents, all "kwd" format. I love Kword.

Sometimes I will open a another Document and I becomme only empty empty.

Other beforehand opened Documents while hangs.

I can't start Kword or Kspread and use theirs.

I must reinstall Kword and Kspread and now works.

What is the Solution?

Unfortunately the report is way too vague, to indicate, if it is a bug at all. When a reinstall works for you, it cannot be called a reproducible case. First guess is broken hardware.

That said, KWord would not be my choice to write a document with several dozen pages - at least if it's important.

If you can provide a document, causing KWord to allocate lots of memory, or another reproducible test case, feel free to reopen.
