Even with the blender-game and the player use flags, blender can't save games as runtime. When you try, you get the message "unable to find runtime". I know a bug like this was anounced as solved some time ago, but the problem persists. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open blender 2. Try to save a runtime 3.
Please specify the version of media-gfx/blender in the Summary. Also, post your `emerge --info'.
Its blender 2.47-r1 right now; but the same happened in previous versions (there was an alternative ebuild for 2.42 that solved it, but after that, the problem has been persistent). please resync an a few hours and remerge blender with USE="player" set, then you should be able to save the runtime. the blenderplayer binary was not installed previously and is required to save the game. please reopen if this is still an issue.
