Description Jose Marino 2008-10-01 16:19:41 UTC
Trying to open a .glade file from inside anjuta causes anjuta to crash.

I emerged dev-util/anjuta-2.2.0-r1 with glade USE flag enabled and dev-util/glade-3.4.5

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to open a .glade file
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Anjuta crashes with the following error:

(anjuta:10258): libanjuta-WARNING **: could not load plugin: /usr/lib/anjuta/libanjuta-glade.so: undefined symbol: glade_project_get_has_unsaved_changes

Expected Results:
Anjuta should open the glade file using its glade plugin.

According to this ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/anjuta/+bug/126314

Some changes in glade-3.3.2 broke anjuta's plugin.

did you try with anjuta-2.24 or even better with the upcoming to a tree near you soon I promise anjuta 2.26 ?

I am trying to test dev-util/anjuta-2.26.1.0 from the gnome overlay.

However, I run into another issue: right after starting anjuta it takes 100% cpu and the gui doesn't refresh. I'm trying to diagnose the issue (and maybe open a new bug report about it) with no luck so far.

please try with 2.26.2.0. There is little chance we are going to fix 2.24 at this point since it has a lot of known bugs besides what is listed in our own bugzilla and it wasn't handled in due time.
