Description Joerg Schaible 2003-07-02 13:38:36 UTC
Starting with mindi-0.85 mindi was split into the normal mindi and the mindi-kernel package. Unfortunately the ebuild of mindi-0.85 is now nicomplete, since the mindi-kernel is not available as ebuild. Mindi stops proposing the download of the new package if it is told not to use the own kernel. See the mindi homepage for dependencies, IMHO the dependency for syskernel is also missing (although available as ebuild).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start mindi 2. Select 'n' to get a kernel provided by mindi 3. Select 'n' for syslinux instead of LILO Mindi complains about missing files of the mind-kernel package
Actual Results:
Mindi stops execution

Expected Results:
Building a boot disk

Sorry, I have currently a very limited system yet. No X (just links) and I don't know how to C&P between the boot consoles.

my appologies here, as this was my fault for forgetting to upload the mindi-kernel package.

I will also make this a hard dependancy into the mindi ebuild as previously it has not been (i have no trouble with the gentoo kernels).

Please try portage in 15 minutes.

worked now, all dependencies were there - thanks!
I suppose I had no digest for mindi-kernel, since the mirrors weren't up-to-date. Even the mindo-kernel was grabbed from mindi's homepage.
