I'm seeing this on only one machine, another machine which has even served as the base for cloning the machine in question works fine. I don't think it is a RAM problem as memtest ran fine a short time ago and the problem is reproducable easily (only eix fails, no other strange observations).
Any ideas?
Comment 1 Sebastian Luther (few) 2008-09-26 07:12:11 UTC
Does it always fail at the same file?
Comment 2 Christian Hoffmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-09-26 14:06:27 UTC
Crap, today it worked fine (it failed on the same file yesterday, iirc). So I guess it's bad RAM... sorry for the noise. :/
