Description Darren 2008-09-22 21:19:36 UTC
A simple shell script replace the big guis of cpanel and plesk. Creates a user, set their password, add them to mysql and samba and set up their public_html folder within apache.

Reproducible: Always

the tar.bz2 includes both the ebuild and the script its self within the files dir, if this is not the done thing, i will be more than happy to host the file on my own server and just submit the ebuild

I suggest you set up a proper HOMEPAGE for the package and refer to that in [URL] instead of some tarball with unknown contents:

Where did you get that script from? If it is from some project, place the right SRC_URI in the ebuild and you are done. If it is your own, place it on your server or some webspace and add the url in SRC_URI.

And please attach the plain ebuild to this bug.

After you have done that, you can read and follow https://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/sunrise/wiki/HowToCommit

Sunrise will at least make it easier for people to get/use/update the ebuild and it is a first step towards the main tree (as there are syntax and qa checks for ebuilds getting into sunrise, so a interested dev will get a reviewed ebuild)
