Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unmerge rubygems from your system 2. Try to emerge amarok Actual Results: no executable files are created! Expected Results: Amarok compilation should be invoked?

Please post the output of `ruby-conf -l' and `ruby-conf -c' too.

Please restart your shell or execute `unset RUBYOPT'. That information was by the way also shown when you unmerged rubygems. ;) If the problem still persists, check that the file /etc/env.d/10rubygems does _not_ exist.
deleting /etc/env.d/10rubygems did the job but I still think that message >>> media-sound/amarok-1.4.10 merged. at the end of the build log is a bit misleading when no executable file was created
