Description Christian Haag 2008-09-22 03:16:54 UTC
From the website: "AVL is a program for the aerodynamic and flight-dynamic analysis of rigid aircraft of arbitrary configuration. It employs an extended vortex lattice model for the lifting surfaces, together with a slender-body model for fuselages and nacelles. General nonlinear flight states can be specified. The flight dynamic analysis combines a full linearization of the aerodynamic model about any flight state, together with specified mass properties."

I figure that since xfoil is in the portage tree, avl should be as well. The ebuild I made is a modified version of the xfoil ebuild, and works for my system (with gfortran)

Hi,

Thanks for your contribution! The ebuild looks pretty good. I don't know this package and how to test it. I might commit it in the science overlay (and may be later to the main tree) if you're willing to proxy-maintain it. Let me know.
Also, is there a way to do a src_test?
