While emerging the latest version of gdm the attached build error occurs. The same goes for the 2.20.7 version Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

could you paste emerge --info and also emerge -pv gdm ? You also probably want to rebuild docbook-xml-dtd 4.1.2-r6 to see if it helps. You may have a corrupted catalog ?

I masked the docbook-xml-dtd so that the version above would be > installed. normally you don't have to do that, you can either do emerge -1 \=app-text/docbook-xml-dtd-4.1.2-r6 or emerge -1 app-text/docbook-xml-dtd:4.1.2 since this is the only version in this slot :) > > You may have a corrupted catalog ? > What do you mean by that? according to the result of the previous test, it appears you had a locally corrupted copy of the docbook 4.1.2 dtd, maybe a faulty disk or a crash of the box led to this, anyway, closing, feel free to report any other bug you find.
