Running a Lenovo X61 with an intel 965GM video setup. When X closes, the screen glitches and stops updating. If gdm is running, the screen will start up properly once the login screen returns, but exiting to a console is not possible. I can still enter commands at the console and have them recognized. Using the xf86-video-vesa driver this problem disappears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set Driver="intel" in xorg.conf 2.Run xinit gnome-session or xinit startfluxbox or gdm 3.Exit X Actual Results: Screen glitches and freezes Expected Results: Return to console, or return to gdm without graphical problems Running x.org 7.4, xf86-video-intel 2.4.2. Created attachment 165809 [details] Xorg.0.log from a crashing session
Created attachment 165811 [details] xorg.conf
Created attachment 165812 [details] output of lspci -v
The backtrace you provided shows that the crash comes from the wacom driver... Could you try without this device? Thanks
Please don't hesitate to reopen this bug after trying what I suggested in comment #4. Thanks
