Here's an updated ipython build for the new ipython 0.9.1. With this version, ipython1 was merged into the main ipython tree. Turns out the ipython-0.8.4-jobctrl.patch is no longer needed (fixed upstream) Created a new version of ipython-0.8.4-globalpath.patch for 0.9.1 ~jtriley

Created attachment 165590 [details, diff] updated globalpath patch for ipython 0.9.1
Created attachment 165606 [details] Updated ebuild with all required dependencies. Added readline, gui, parallel, testsuite use flags
Created attachment 165607 [details] ebuild for foolscap generated by g-pypi This ebuild is required for the parallel use flag. Should this be added as a new ebuild bug? Not sure since I generated it with g-pypi...
Turns out yes, should have added as a new bug, and did. However, it turns out foolscap went into the portage tree the day I added the ebuild to THIS bug (see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238876)...strange coincidence
Created attachment 167626 [details] ipython-0.9.1-r2.ebuild Ebuild updated with: * more portage like use flags * an src_test * minor docs and dependencies fixes It drops various arches, mainly due to foolscap testing. Notably s390 should not even be in previous versions since gnuplot-py has not been marked ~s390.
