CDParanoia 3.10.0 - currently in the tree - does not handle drive caching of audio data properly, and this has been adressed with the 3.10.2 version. Any reason not to get this rather important (for the scope of the app, that is) fix in ASAP?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -p cdparanoia
2. check version
3. compare to latest stable version from xiph

Actual Results:  
Version being installed is 10.0

Expected Results:  
Should be 10.2
