=media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20070616-r20 is known to cross compile. In newer ffmpeg we have code that seems to be carried over from a previous ebuild which had a cross compile option. The old code looks like this. tc-is-cross-compiler && myconf="${myconf} --cross-compile --arch=$(tc-arch-kernel)" I've not found the new method to cross compile it yet. If I do I'll post an update here. If it's a super simple fix. I'll just fix the ebuild unless you guys yell not to.
