Please post the entire build log. From what you posted, it seems like configure and make are running at the same time, which is a bit strange.

Hi. Yes, it worked for me too. Easy solution for a problem affecting 5 different systems of mine.
There are two similar issues: bug 104251 and bug 82589. But each bug is solved and have different solutions. Assigning on maintainer.
Since a reinstall of klibc fixed the problem in each case, it looks like a klibc issue to me. Reassigning.
Please post config.log from a build where this fails.
