In addition, can you please unmask something recent?  1.1.12 is stable on x86 and ppc64 for sure, and is probably more stable than 1.1.8 on the other architectures as well.

I have a jfs disk check with 1.1.12 and fsck give signal 11.
Have to use the 1.1.13 jfs fsck on another disk installed to recover it.
Works fine in my amd_64 kernel 2.6.25

thanks, committed, and requested 1.1.12 for stable in #245096. If you remember, feel free to file a new kernel-misc@gentoo.org bug for us to stable 1.1.13 in a few weeks time.
