On: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/liveusb.xml in the section "Installing a Master Boot Record" the file 
/usr/share/syslinux/mbr.bin is reference as a part of syslinux, however this file is located in 
/usr/lib/syslinux/mbr.bin at least on amd64, i dont know about other platforms.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge syslinux (v.3.52)
2. notice the missing folder /usr/share/syslinux
3. find the file in /usr/lib/syslinux/mbr.bin

Darn, supposedly this was fixed in bug 233177. I guess that user was on ~arch; doesn't help that latest stable is over a year old. Okay, I'll guess I'll have to revert the v1.14 commit.
