The cidmaps using by fontforge ebuild are too out of date, the new up to date cidmaps can be check out from fontforge cvs tree since March of 2008. Today more fonts, e.g. AdobeSongStd-Light.otf, use new CID mappings that need up-to-dated cidmaps to display the char names. We'd better update the cidmap tarball for fontforge ebuilds.

I checked out fontforge from its cvs tree. and tar the cidmap directory, which contains the up-to-dated cidmaps.

Yu Yuwei, upstream updated cidmaps in their normal location so I've took cidmaps from http://fontforge.sf.net/cidmaps.tgz. They look be more recent but in case they are not, please, reopen this bug and I'll grub from CVS like you did.
