Hi,

HepMC is an attempt to provide a generic interface to Monte Carlo generators
used in High Energy Physics.

I am attaching a proposed ebuild, so it can be tested out and maybe commented
on.

The ebuild is pretty much straight forward, but one is required to select base
units, and I choose MeV and mm since this is what *I personally* am used to.
Suggestions are welcome if that's an issue.

Stefano: could you please comment on these as a user?

Now in portage. Thanks much for your work.
Not closing yet for both sparc and hppa to keyword it, as it is now a dep for pythia-8.
