Stop postfix with /etc/init.d/postfix stop


Download http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/gentoo/distfiles/postfix-2.5.3-vda-ng.patch.gz to /usr/portage/distfiles

emerge -utvDN mail-mta/postfix

Installed for me: postfix-2.5.3-r1
