Description Carlo Marcelo Arenas Belon 2008-08-30 01:29:31 UTC
the ebuild tries to remove the ganglia directory after the python modules had been cleaned up at uninstall time as shown by pkg_postrm() but this will fail if the directory is not empty (like during an update) with the following message:

  rmdir: failed to remove `/usr/lib64/ganglia': Directory not empty

since this is a spurious error which is just trying to cover for a deficiency in portage handling of this directory which won't be removed until the python compiled code has been removed as well, it could be safely ignored but will be a good idea to send it to /dev/null to avoid confusion

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge =sys-cluster/ganglia-3.1.0
2.emerge -DNvu ganglia
3.

Actual Results:
spurious error printed

Expected Results:
normal upgrade

Fixed in cvs for ganglia-3.1.0-r1.ebuild, no revision bump.

Thanks for the report and patch!
