Description Chris Gianelloni 2008-08-29 20:27:31 UTC
My developer repo has moved to:

git://git.wolf31o2.org/overlays/wolf31o2.git

Can someone update gentoo/xml/htdocs/proj/en/layman-global.txt to point to the new location?

Thanks

Nothing GDP specific here, sorry.

Any Gentoo developer is supposed to have access to that part of the "gentoo" repo, so you can make the change yourself, Chris. Anyway, I've tried to find out what change are you requesting, but a quick grep showed you just for the "efika" oevrlay which probably isn't what you want to change here...

And the file name is gentoo/xml/htdocs/proj/en/overlays/layman-global.txt btw.

It's so nice to work _with_ eachother Jan. Do you think I do bug wrangling because it's s much fun!? Hard task, really....
Comment 3 Jan Kundrát (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-29 23:58:20 UTC
Meh, I somehow didn't realize that as Chris retired, he can't commit that fix himself.

I'm also not sure about the overlay's project attitude about listing former developer's overlays, and so I guess it's best to pass this to the overlays project.

Carsten, my comment wasn't meant to imply that you suck at bug wrangling. I'll try to say "this doesn't belong to GDP" in a friendlier tone next time :). Please accept my apologies in the meanwhile.

Although you seem to not have had your dev overlay listed in layman, I added that now. As you imported some of your ebuilds from your svn, I assume you don't need that any more?

It is removed from the overlays site now but archived, so if you need that or not, please leave a comment here, Chris

While at it, you're listed as contact for the efika overlay. Is someone taking over that project?

And I didn't take it as that. I just think we'd work more effcient, if people would simply fix such trivial issues, instead passing bugs from one alias to the next. I'd likely have done it myself, if I'd feel comfortable touching this part of the repository.
Comment 6 Chris Gianelloni 2008-09-04 15:55:24 UTC
Sorry, my developer overlay was removed. Honestly, I might have even done it, because I didn't have anongit enabled when I was retiring. The SVN repository was fully migrated, so there's no need for the SVN version.

As for the EFIKA overlay, I think you guys forget that non-developers can still maintain overlays. So long as nobody removes me erroneously, I should still be the contact on the EFIKA overlay, though my email can likely be changed to wolf31o2@wolf31o2.org instead of gentoo.org... I should still have access to other overlays, too, such as vmware and games. Leaving the Gentoo project doesn't mean that I don't still *use* Gentoo and want to see it do well. ;]

Ok I've updated e-mail's too. I think there is nothing to do here. FIXED.
