Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2008-08-29 17:19:22 UTC
This is due to hanno having been bumped only -good and not -bad and all the split packages out of those at the same time as must be done.
Comment 2 Alexis Ballier gentoo-dev 2008-08-29 17:39:57 UTC
I have collisions with -bad 0.10.7 too:

# Rémi Cardona <remi@gentoo.org> (30 Aug 2008)
# major file collisions, see bug #236124
media-libs/gst-plugins-good-0.10.9

I corrected that mask:
=media-libs/gst-plugins-good-0.10.9

If >= or something else was intended please adjust as needed.

Two months have passed.

For me it looks like those eclasses need to be redesigned
and plugin lists should be moved to the ebuilds.
Well, either that or simply make good, bad and ugly metas.
After all, every plugin move will trigger such problems.
Comment 6 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-05 20:46:24 UTC
j*sus.. don't update the ebuilds if you don't know what the .... you are doing.
Comment 7 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-05 20:49:59 UTC
gst-plugins-good eclass updated, and

+*gst-plugins-good-0.10.11 (05 Dec 2008)
+
+ 05 Dec 2008; <ssuominen@gentoo.org> +gst-plugins-good-0.10.11.ebuild:
+ Version bump.

moving forward with correct upgrade path for gstreamer..
Comment 8 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-05 23:05:18 UTC
the mask is removed.. the version is removed from tree.. eclasses are fixed, and everything is up to date. blockers updated.
