If i start a fluid simulation with blender, blender will crashing after faw minutes with a segmantation fault.

The same fluid simulation works on windows xp and arch linux.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Blender
2. Run a fluid simulation with a resolution >150

Actual Results:

Typo in the subject line; which is the other version you tried?

Also, what version were you using on Arch Linux that worked properly?

Finally, do you have a gcc older than 4.3 that you could try recompiling blender with? A number of apps still have compile-time issues with gcc 4.3.1, so I wouldn't be suprised if there are some with run-time issues.
