On a not very up-to-date system I have: myhost1 ~ # equery b /usr/bin/pagsh [ Searching for file(s) /usr/bin/pagsh in *... ] app-crypt/heimdal-1.2.1_rc1-r1 (/usr/bin/pagsh) net-fs/openafs-1.4.7 (/usr/bin/pagsh) After upgrading to app-crypt/heimdal-1.2.1-r1, /usr/bin/pagsh is gone without notice. According to myhost2 ~ # equery b /usr/bin/pagsh [ Searching for file(s) /usr/bin/pagsh in *... ] net-fs/openafs-1.4.7 (/usr/bin/pagsh) it now belongs only to openafs, but one has to re-emerge openafs. It would be nice to leave a note after upgrading heimdal.

Created attachment 163977 [details] emerge --info for myhost1 (still running app-crypt/heimdal-1.2.1_rc1-r1)
Created attachment 163980 [details] emerge --info for myhost2 (running heimdal-1.2.1-r1) Of course, I will add "collision-protect" to the feature list in future, but it would probably be helpful to some other people as well if they are notified after heimdal upgrade that /usr/bin/pagsh (and perhaps others) may have been inadvertantly removed. Anyway, thanks for the new heimdal ebuild and the efforts to reduce file collisions.
This problem should be fixed in heimdal-1.2.1-r1. If not please feel free to reopen the bug. greets, mueli
