app-crpyt/coolkey should have the ~ppc keyword added to its ebuild. After copying the ebuild to my personal overlay and adding the keyword, I was able to successfully emerge this package. After adding the libcoolkeypkcs11.so module to Firefox, I was able to use a smart card to authenticate to a web site that requires a client certificate on the card to connect. @Zack: You may be interested in the file /etc/portage/package.keywords - it allows you to emerge packages that have not been keyworded for your specific ACCEPT_KEYWORDS. See portage(5) for more information.
