Could arch teams please test and (unstable) keyword the new x11-drivers/xf86-input-synaptics package. Required software for testing is the currently masked X.Org server. Required hardware is a Synaptics touchpad, ALPS touchpad, Apple (Geyser) touchpad or Broadcom multitouch touchpad (requires kernel 2.6.27).
Target keywords are X86, PPC & PPC64 (I already tested AMD64 myself) to bring the new software in line with the x11-drivers/synaptics package that it will eventually replace. Do let me know if you have any questions.

added ~ppc64. Builds fine, no hardware to test.

works on PPC. Tested on G4 with appletouch driver.

Marked ~ppc, tested on my Powerbook, also works well with Appletouch. Closing since we're the last arch.
