Please revbump quantlib the version in the tree is quite old 0.3.14-r1 and the current version is 0.9.6. A copy of the latest in portage tree to the new version # seems to work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. cp quantlib-0.3.14-r1.ebuild quantlib-0.9.6.ebuild 2. ebuild quantlib-0.9.6.ebuild digest 3. emerge quantlib

I'm about to test the upstream version on ams64 -- I've had trouble building the R quantlib interface package, and it may be because the Gentoo ebuild is too old. I should know something in a couple of hoirs or so -- it takes quite a while for quantlib to build, even on a DC AMD64.
Created attachment 171125 [details] shell script with the "configure" options I used These are the options I used in the "configure" step when I built from the upstream source.
1. I downloaded the upstream source for 0.9.6 and built it on my AMD64 box. The attachment shows the "configure" options I used. I did not build the docs -- they are in a separate source file. I'm probably going to go back and do that, however. The example tests, test suite and benchmark all worked with no gotchas and the install to /usr/local also worked. So I think the upgrade of the ebuild should be easy. 2. I was able to successfully build and install the R package "RQuantLib" that depends on QuantLib. So I am on the air.
Hello guys, I bumped it in cvs, it installed ok for me. Can you test it? Cheers, Marcelo
Marking as fixed.
