Updating glib to 2.17.7 I got this error:

tar jxf /usr/portage/distfiles/glib-2.17.7.tar.bz2 --no-same-owner

 * Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE!  Value for $EPATCH_SOURCE is:
 * 
 *   /usr/local/overlays/gnome/dev-libs/glib/files/glib-2.17.7-notests.patch
 *   ( glib-2.17.7-notests.patch )

Indeed:

$ ls /usr/local/overlays/gnome/dev-libs/glib/files/
glib-2.10.3-ia64-atomic-ops.patch  glib-2.12.12-fbsd.patch  glib-2.6.3-testglib-ssp.patch

I resync'ed the gnome overlay but it still did not appear.

Ah, that's my fault. Sorry for the brain fart. It should be fixed now.
