Comment 1 bungernut 2008-08-19 00:30:15 UTC
I dont have a openmp USE variable in /etc/make.conf although I can see it clearly in the output of emerge --info

I have no idea what openmp does as its description is not in /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc
Comment 2 bungernut 2008-08-19 00:33:28 UTC
I have already tried an
emerge -uDvN system
unsuccessfully, although I have would not expect this to resolve anything since the openmp use flag is not in make.conf

openmp is not in your make.conf file, but in your profile. I changed the ebuild, that it should not die anymore. you can sync in a few hours and you should be able to upgrade imagemagick.
Thanks for reporting.
