We have set up a new (http-only at this time) source mirror hosted from the
University of Wisconsin at Madison Department of Chemistry (UW-Madison
Chemistry) network: http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu (128.104.70.13)

We have followed the instructions from source mirror policy page and the mirror
is ready to be tested by you.

Currently the mirror is throttled to 20 Mbps and 40 simultaneous connections,
however, we plan to significantly ease these limitations in the future.

sorry about the delay in responding.  we've been short-staffed of late.

I've sent instructions on accessing our private distfiles mirror to gentooadmins@chem.wisc.edu.  I've also subscribed this address to our gentoo mirrors mailing list, where we announce and discuss things related to the gentoo mirror system.

Finally, I've added this link to our mirrors page -- it should show up on the site within 4 hours.
