Description Korthrun 2008-08-15 22:21:10 UTC
New ebuild for sunrise - BPE (Bash Programming Environment)
A set of useful shell/CGI scripting functions for the GNU Bash shell.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download.
2. Install.
3. Write the best bash you ever have.
4. Get excited.

The sunrise docs say that maintainer-wanted@gentoo.org should be the assignee but I can't find a spot to request a particular assignee. I apologize if I'm doing it wrong, or will see it after I hit submit.

I just figured out the assignee bit. Impatience will be the death of me.

What? Where is the ebuild? I resolve your bug as INVALID, until you have submitted an ebuild. You upload your ebuilds here in order to get reviewed by sunrise gentoo developers. Here I have nothing. Please, reopen the bug when you have submitted any ebuilds. I hope you understand.

All the way, I thought it was a little weird, the way I took in the docs.
Perhaps I was doing a bit much multitasking, but it read to me like "once the bug is assigned properly, you then svn commit it".

Thanks for the point in the right direction, I'll do it right in a few :)

Now, you can ask in irc, for a dev to review your work. Thanks for your ebuild.

Updated Ebuild

Here is an updated version of my proposed ebuild after getting some direction from #gentoo-sunrise.

Thanks!

This process stalled and the app is maintained in a whole different way now.

Marking resolved.
