mozilla-firefox-3.* creates a 1x17 window at the top-left corner of the screen, on top of any other applications, and is present on all workspaces, regardless of which one Firefox is actually on. This makes it impossible to access Gnome's Applications menu by moving the mouse cursor into the corner. Latest stable metacity and gnome-panel is being used. Created attachment 162916 [details] Screenshot The 1x17 window is clearly visible on top of the selected Applications menu, with the drop-shadow added by compositing metacity. Taken with and without being in the same workspace as Firefox, top and bottom respectively.
I was just about to add that I disabled all plug-ins, but then realized I did it only for the extensions, and not plug-ins. Problem does not exist when all media-player plug-ins are disabled. Please disregard.
The window is opened by all Shockwave Flash versions > 9.0 r48.
