The mirror listed in Greece: files.gentoo.org(both ftp/http) is not working. gentoo.org is not in Greece (of course). I think that the correct address is files.gentoo.gr, which is a mirror hosted by a Greek ISP. I am not affiliated with files.gentoo.gr

Fixed, thanks for reporting the typo, seems like it's been around for a while now.
