What this patch should do?

I see only regeneration of documentation already generated by gtk-doc, without proper dependencies in DEPEND variable.
As i understand you intend to have sth like in gtk+ ebuild. You have to fix it a little then.

sorry for the noise. I thought this just determines that docs should be installed, so forget the patch and the bug could be closed.
My svn ebuild of phat has iritated me a bit so thx for pointing this out

No problem, enhancements are always good.
If you have some ideas in future, just fill a bug.
