My vpenis is not enough to commit to /main/en/irc.xml, but with 4000+ cm, it's still bigger than your, so please don't tell me that I shouldn't report this to docs-team :p.
Created attachment 162792 [details, diff] /main/en/irc.xml patch `cvs commit -m "adding irc channels mentioned in the thread about Willikins, the IRC bot" irc.xml`
The bug that I added is for my #gentoo-alt request submitted some time ago. Please resolve that one when this bug gets resolved. Thanks.
I think the main question here - "Are the descriptions supplied here correct?" It better if relevant channel founders/teams review and give here their blessing: #gentoo-amd64-dev: kingtaco, amd64 #gentoo-accessibility: williamh, accessibility@gentoo.org #gentoo-alt: flameeyes, drizzt (lead) #gentoo-chat: ?? Their topic is rather descriptive. Is there anybody from Gentoo after this, should we include it? #gentoo-council: dberkholz, council #gentoo-cpp: <- this channel is not registered #gentoo-desktop-effects: jmbsvicetto, again, not official project. Should we list it? #gentoo-devrel: dberkholz, devrel #gentoo-pr: dberkholz, pr #gentoo-python: marienz (not gentoo developer), python@gentoo.org #gentoo-qa: halcy0n, qa #gentoo-sunrise: jokey #gentoo-toolchain: halcy0n, toolchain #gentoo-treecleaners: phreak (not developer now), treecleaner #gentoo-trustees: g2boojum, trustees #gentoo-vim: agorf, vim First name is channel founder name as registered at freenode, second is team alias (most names for team aliases I've took from the top of my head, so it's possible that bugzilla alias differs). If you agree with me then we should CC relevant parties so they'll review their descriptions. Also I think we should CC musikc as may be she could resolve questions about -effects and -chat, but I'm not sure here.
(In reply to comment #3) > #gentoo-alt: flameeyes, drizzt (lead) I already CC'd grobian on bug 233926. drizzt is technically the lead of "gentoo-alt" but he is involved with g/bsd only and they have #gentoo-bsd already. Long story short, you want grobian for the #gentoo-alt channel. @grobian: Blessing for the description: "Gentoo on alternative architectures"
Technically, we should abandon #gentoo-alt (meaning the channel will die/get empty) and get our own #gentoo-prefix...
Fixed in CVS.
